Support local creators and makers on Heritage Day

The market will feature an array of stalls and exhibits with unique homemade, handcrafted goods, clothing, jewelry and homeware.

To mark Heritage Day on September 24, 2018, Carnival City will be staging a Heritage Market to give local creators and producers a platform to showcase their products. The market will feature an array of stalls and exhibits with unique homemade, handcrafted goods, clothing, jewelry and homeware.

“What better way to celebrate our heritage than to provide a platform for showcasing what our community has to offer? Buying local feeds our local economy so we hope that our community will visit the market to discover some of the amazing goods that are produced by people right here in Ekurhuleni,” says Michelle Smith, marketing manager at Carnival City.

The Heritage Market will take place from 10am to 6pm on September 23 and September 24, 2018, in the walkway to the main entrance of Carnival City. There is no entrance fee.
