SA’s Afrikaans greats collaborate for Krone 5
Year on year the popular Krone concerts sell out at venues in Gauteng and the Western Cape, the only difference this year being a change of venue. The bigger and better Krone 5 concert will take place at its spectacular new home at Time Square in Menlyn Maine.
On July 28 and 29 South Africa’s most popular Afrikaans sing-along bash takes place at Time Square’s state of the art Sun Arena. Unforgettable classics and new favourites performed by wildly popular Afrikaans artists, Krone 5 is s showcase not to be missed.
Gather round, sing, tap and clap along to the sounds of Andriëtte, Brendan Peyper, Elandré, Elizma Theron, Franja du Plessis, Jo Black, Juanita du Plessis, Kurt Darren, Liezel Pieters, Manie Jackson, Nadine, Nicholis Louw, Ray Dylan, Refentse, Ricus Nel, Robbie Wessels, Ruan Josh and Snotkop, all on one star-studded line-up and one stage.
“We are really excited to be hosting South Africa’s best,” says Brett Hoppé, general manager at Time Square. “This is the most enjoyable, almost karaoke-style, interactive Afrikaans show to hit our stage and we welcome fans to our Sun Arena for an unforgettable evening.”
With lyrics of each song appearing on a big screen as a carefully, professionally choreographed music spectacular unfolds, every audience member, whether a professional singer or simply a star in the shower back home, can participate.
