Donate a dress and help make dreams come true

Matric Farewells should be a night to remember and for most girls, a dress is the most important part of the event as it contributes to the makings of a perfect Cinderella story.

Through the new P.S. Matric Farewell Dress Campaign, Cadbury is hoping to make a few lucky girls’ dreams come true by providing them with a dress for their special event.

The campaign kicked off in July and is targeting disadvantaged girls in various townships within Gauteng who are unable to hire or buy a dress of their own.

“In starting the P.S. Matric Farewell Dress Campaign, we felt that we could create a platform for our consumers to get involved in helping each other.

“We also hope that by providing the disadvantaged girls with dresses, we can help them make their matric farewell a memorable one” said Grant van Niekerk, Mondelez SA Category Lead for Chocolate.

Consumers all over South Africa are encouraged to sort through their wardrobes for pre-loved dresses to donate.

Dresses can be dropped off at participating The Space clothing stores nationwide until August 14.

The Space stores can be located in Johannesburg at The Zone at Rosebank, Clearwater Mall and the Mall of Africa. In Pretoria, at Woodlands Mall and Brooklyn Mall.
